Emaar Properties is exploring opportunities to develop mixed-use projects in Saudi Arabia as part of the kingdom's construction boom. The company's founder, Mohammed Alabbar, revealed that Emaar is in "serious discussions" with Saudi Arabia's housing ministry for potential collaborations. If an agreement is reached, Emaar could embark on a significant 4,000-unit housing project. Saudi Arabia has become an attractive destination for international developers, with significant investments and contracts awarded to support its transformation into a tourism hub and diversify its revenue sources. Emaar has a history of involvement in Saudi real estate projects, including the King Abdullah Economic City initiative.
